Friday File - 03 August, 2007
Wow, that was a fast week. Today in the file…
Great new blog I found while I was messing around. Deputy Dog - “because everyone likes stuff”. Nothing overly informative, and the language is PG-13 but worth a visit Interesting posts: Top 9 Emergency Vehicles and Prisons of the World.
And you wonder why them kids can’t spell no good. From the New York Times, a story that will bother you. Make sure you read the last two paragraphs.
Paul Graham, hacker turned VC rants on “stuff”. A good read that’s a little deeper than it seems on the surface.
Rob May pleads for somebody to build him something useful with all this Web 2.0 stuff. A good tie in to a post I’m working on for next week.
Finally, Alex Krupp takes a sobering look at Business degrees, and what’s being taught in them. I seriously hope what he found is an oddity, but somehow I doubt it.
Enjoy the weekend!
